“I am an artist, curator and researcher living and working in Hastings Old Town. My work spans artists' books, installation, handmade objects, painting, drawing, costume and collage, all with a link to archives, obsessive collecting & re-imaging the past.
Works include a petting zoo made from unloved and broken animals, an on-street pencil sharpening station, a 10ft giant, and a hobby horse made from my late father's 1960s woollen coat.
I am currently working on a series of hand puppets, critters and curios to form a wearable and pop-up 'Hedgerow Puppet Show', based on research of puppeteer Walter Wilkinson, and a new research project based on Hainault Forest and the Fairlop Oak, in Essex/ East London.”
