Join Santi in this interactive makeup workshop, where you get to explore your inner drag self. Beyond binaries, to creatures and all kinds of fruity things. Anything goes in this workshop - expand your drag imagination in this creative session! Attendees will get to develop their very own drag character, learn the basics of drag makeup (focusing on skin and eyes) and get to watch a live gender bendy makeup demo and to put your skills into practice. This is a 2 hour session with free take home resources. All materials provided - and a photoshoot session to end the workshop too.
Santi (they/he) is a DIY fashion-ista working in LGBTQ+ style outreach and grassroots organising. Santi is the Founder of G(end)er Swap - the first LGBTQ+ style outreach organisation in the UK that supports gender-diverse people to access style resources. Santi has been working in LGBTQ+ style outreach for 7 years creating digital style resources, delivering affirming style and makeup workshops, clothing support and makeup initiatives, talks and exhibitions across the UK and Europe. Santi has an extensive experiential (and eclectic) background in makeup artistry & styling, harm reduction and academia. They are a drag performer that goes by the name of Pre-T Boy, a model, content creator and the owner of a new DIY clothing brand called GIRLY BOY. They are on a mission to inspire society to celebrate gender diversity in all its glory. Their work can be found in Hunger Magazine, Open Democracy, Bricks Magazine and more!
