Passionate about nature and its exquisite display, making use of it as inspiration in her art work and arts & crafts workshops - Gilda Silva is an Brazilian artist, from Jequitinhonha Vale, Minas Gerais - Brazil.

She is a self taught artist and loves the healing power of art in all its forms. Gilda has been working with children in UK since 2012, delivering arts and crafts workshops in London and also here in Hastings.

Recently she has taken part working with Hastings Contemporary on The Pearl of the Sea Project for the second year. Gilda has also participated in a Dance project called Friends by Gillie Kleiman and has just finished an associate artist program by Devonshire Collective gallery .

Her work is in water colour , acrylic and oil and materials found in nature.
