TEN-SIXTY-MIX
Curious Agenda’s custom ‘Ten Sixty Mix’ Phonebooth has been constructed by designer/maker Simon Turner and painted by local artist Georgie Wheeler.
Artist Georgie Wheeler has painted the phonebox to represent Perfect Twos, in her typically bold, comic and quirky style. It celebrates the lowest status card in a deck of cards, creating idols and winners out of paired objects and things.
Pick up the receiver in this retro portal, based in Source Park, to listen to a playlist of music chosen by local residents, with each tune chosen by one member of the community.
Every song tells a tale—of joy, nostalgia, heartbreak, or celebration. This interactive experience invites you to reflect on the power of music.
