Benjamin Phillips is an illustrator, artist and author based in Hastings, UK. From his studio he creates, ceramics, drawings and paintings for a wide range of commercial and personal projects.

The graphic novel Alte Zachen written by Ziggy Hanaor and illustrated by Benjamin published by Cicada books won the category of 'Illustration for Children' and the overall title of the Moira Gemmill Illustrator of the Year in the V&A Illustration Awards 2024. The illustrations were also shortlisted for The Yoto Carnegie Medal for Illustration 2023.

Benjamin was a featured artist in the Brewers Towner International Prize at Towner Eastbourne, 2023.

One Day written by Michael Rosen and illustrated by Benjamin will be released in January 2025. A powerful picture book based on the true story of an escape by members of the French resistance from a rail convoy bound for Auschwitz.
