Polly studied costume design then went into theatre management at Sadler’s Wells and The Royal Exchange before beginning a career in writing for children’s TV.
During lockdown, like so many, she rediscovered her love of sewing, and had to improvise with materials so started using old clothes, embroidery and eyeshadow and anything else she could find.
The quilt in the Music Bedroom is a result of - and about - lockdown, for her daughter. The other work is from her love of Hastings & St. Leonards since moving here.
